In the past several years, we have seen incredible growth in healing music services. Musicians are able to enroll in valuable training programs to learn how to best offer music in medical facilities, senior centers, and even schools and churches. However, there has been a void, as many musicians seek education in offering music for wellness: Complementary therapies, spa services, yoga, and meditation. These wellness practices have had close ties with music for a long time, but live music can reach depths in healing that recorded music cannot. Healing Music for Wellness Settings offers training for musicians who want to learn appropriate musical styles for relaxation and wellbeing. This multi-module course is the first of its kind, offering lessons specifically geared toward building skills in musical relaxation, wellbeing, and self-care.
Course instructor Nicole Anderson founded her business Harp & Wellness in 2020 after making strides in her local wellness community, offering music in conjunction with yoga classes, meditations, Reiki sessions, sound healing, and more. She has taken her experience and compiled specific methods for offering healing music in wellness environments. While creating this course, she interviewed several musicians, wellness practitioners, and pioneers in the healing music world, ensuring that you receive the highest quality expert guidance.

"This course was exactly what I was looking for. I had researched several music therapy courses but found that this course filled the gap towards other more intensive (and expensive) certifications. I feel completely confident taking my newly learned skills into any wellness setting and sharing the gift of healing music. I appreciated the self-paced study and found that having a year to complete the course fit my schedule perfectly. Nicole's clear and concise instruction and feedback is an invaluable bonus!" -Enrollment 1 Student

"Thank you for this amazing course! The videos, reading materials, and illustrations were thorough and easy to understand. I learned so much on this wonderful harp journey!" -Enrollment 2 Student
"The course provides useful information for musicians as they learn how to prepare both music and themselves to play music in a variety of healing related environments. Both the written material and the many well done videos explain all a musician needs to know to take both music you know or music that is improvised and play with confidence for individuals or for groups. I highly recommend this program for anyone who wants to learn new skills or for the person who wants to enhance skills learned in other healing courses. Within a month of completing the course I had acquired opportunities to play in multiple healing environments!" -Dayle O.
