Do I have to be certified in therapeutic music to take the courses?

These courses are designed with Certified Therapeutic Musicians in mind, however, anyone interested in learning more about healing music can benefit. Just remember that these courses are not a substitute for getting a certification. We do not cover all the necessary skills for conducting therapeutic music sessions, and therefore the courses should be used in conjunction with other studies.

Are these courses geared toward a certain level of musician?

I try my best to design each course so that any level of musician can benefit. For beginner to intermediate musicians, I provide extra learning opportunities through bonus videos, and I am always available to answer questions via email. For more advanced musicians, I aim to give you new ways of approaching music and applying your skills to therapeutic settings.

In the future, I plan on offering higher-level courses that will include material previously covered in earlier courses. In these cases, I will note a recommended prerequisite for the course, which will be easily found in the course description. In any case, if you have questions as to whether the course will be a good fit for your skill level, send me an email and I'll be happy to help.

A course that I paid for isn't what I expected. Can I get a refund?

Refunds are accepted up to 30 days after purchase. I simply ask that you email me with your reason for requesting a refund.

What is the refund policy on coaching and materials designs?

Payments for coaching and materials designs are non-refundable. If a coaching session needs to be canceled by either party, I will work with you to reschedule to a later date. Because of the custom nature of materials designs, the purchase is non-refundable. I will work with you to ensure a design that is to your liking.

How long do I have access to the courses I sign up for?

Once you sign up for a course, you will have access to it indefinitely. You can take as long as you want to complete each course.

Do these courses qualify for CEUs?

The courses should qualify for CEUs from each accredited TM program. Just follow your program's guidelines for submitting a report. The number of CEUs might vary depending on your program. I play an instrument other than harp. Are these courses still helpful?

Yes! While the majority of the courses are geared toward harp, which is the instrument on which I teach, many of these methods can be applied to other instruments. For single-note instrumentalists, you're welcome to try the courses and take advantage of the 30-day money-back guarantee if it doesn't work out. I also hope to create some courses in the future that will be geared specifically toward single-note instruments. If you play a non-harp instrument and are struggling to apply the lessons, send me an email and we can work through it.
